I started this blog to reach out to other drivers new and old. I wanted to tell a story that might appeal to professional drivers and teach new drivers how to be a professional driver. The Trucking Podcast is one of those shows that is getting the message out on air that I am in writing. Thanks for the shout out. We will take all the help we can get. One of my favorite long haul trips was hauling truck scales from Rice Lake, WI to the west cost. The loads were 11’11” and I usually had to leave my steel tarps behind to stay under 80k, but I laways loved the journey.

Thanks for the comment. I have never pulled a flatbed, but I have had to do some math to see how much fuel I can get just to pass the next scale. Tell Don, beer has been my arch enemy. I’d love to hear some more of your stories. I think they would make a great addition to this blog. Thanks again.
